Hi there, I’m Matt, I am a mathematics doctoral candidate in my final year at Boston College. My advisor is Ian Biringer. Here’s my CV.

Broadly, I’m interested in hyperbolic manifolds. Specific interests include deformations of hyperbolic 3-manifolds from the perspective of the Chabauty topology, short geodesics in higher-dimensional hyperbolic manifolds, and problems relating rank and Heegaard genus to hyperbolic geometry.
